I Have VERY Sad News
On Thanksgiving, my mom died. Her funeral was this past Sunday.
A bit of good news: After the funeral service, a bald eagle was flying above us. It was a sign. A GOOD sign! I have more as well. But that's for another time.
Depressing News :-(
A few days ago, I found out my mom (who has frontal temporal lobe dementia aka Picks Disease) has six months to a year left! She also has to start wearing diapers! I'm feeling depressed, and sad. Please understand to those of you I rp with if I don't reply right away, read your poems, fan fictions, etc., or seem like my cheery self. Also, for those who comment, please send it in notes.
My First Cat Cafe Experience
Today, I went to a cat cafe. It was very interesting. I had a lot of fun. Not only did one cat jump into my lap, he licked my chin. Then he jumped off. He was only in my lap for about fifteen seconds. The cat's name was Collin (I think that's how you spell it (pronounced: call in. All of the cats (Except for two of them) are up for adoption. The two exceptions are residents of the cafe. All of the cats are from high kill shelters. None of the cats are there for more than a month. This is due to them being adopted. Customers can play with the cats, and pet them. They are not allowed to pick up the cats.
